Grown-Up Spelling Bee
The Florence Area Literacy Council’s Grown-Up Spelling Bee, is an event for adults (18+) where teams of three dress up and compete for the title of Florence’s best spellers (and best dressers!). The words are odd, the food is delicious and the fun is endless. Whether you’re dressed up and competing for BEST SPELLER or you just come to watch, it’s an event not to be missed.

Novel Event -"Lip Sync Battle"
Mics OFF, Battle ON.
The FALC hosts an annual, "A Novel Event: Lip Sync Battle". It is a high energy event full of laughs and competition. 10 teams compete to win first through third place in an epic battle. Each team chooses a song, choreographs their dance moves and delivers an unforgettable performance. The teams also raise money leading up to the event. It is a wonderful night of food, a silent auction and big, big laughs.
